Purpose
In this section, research aimed at developing production systems and process control mechanisms for achieving a sustainable industrial base, as well as material recycling systems and zero emissions technologies, is conducted.
Topics of particular importance are the effective use of energy in the manufacturing process, from raw materials in the production process to completion of the final product, as well as the use of waste products from various industries as raw materials. Students learn about life cycle analysis, including the production of waste as of non-primary products. To achieve recycling and zero waste goals, it is essential that efforts be made to develop new production systems based on the concepts of inverse manufacturing.
Thus, students examine environmentally friendly solvents, strategies for shortening and simplifying the production process, eco-micro factories that adopt production processes using microprocessing, and environmentally friendly green processes.
