My research or experience
while staying Japan

During this visit, I stayed 5 days in Shizuoka. Shizuoka city is well organized with beautiful landscape. University provided good hotel and transport system. So, I was able to stay comfortably at this time. In the last day, there was a chance to meet with Prof. Hirokazu Kawagishi. He has been studying about biologically active compounds from mushrooms. His laboratory was well organized as in optimized space for the experiment. So, it was very interesting to experience the lab life of Japanese University.

About a University

Students of Shizuoka University were very kind to me. They were equipped with good manners and academic abilities. I was impressed by the dedication of students and staff members. It was very impressive student poster presentations from the symposium. They were very enthusiastic about the announcement of their poster over a short period of time, and explained his results with confidence about the poster. Shizuoka University has left a good impression on me. In addition, the Shizuoka University consists of two campuses. Thus, they have provided specialized education according to the campus.

About a Japan

This is first time to visit the Japan. Since I got off at the airport, I was impressed with kindness and sense of public order of Japanese. In workshop period, I spent rewarding days due to the smooth progress and time management. Moreover, I was felt the high mutual respect and consideration over the evening banquet.

The influence for your own study or future

In this workshop, I have presented about my research in front of many professor and students. I also learned about various research fields by presentations from other researchers. Thus, this valuable experience will be a helpful guide for determination my future work. Finally, I’d like to special thank to professor and staff of Shizuoka University.
